Farley’s Wholesale Tire & Quick Lube has been proudly taking care of the Boone community’s vehicle needs for over 56 years.
The shop was originally opened by Bob Farley in 1969 in West Boone. In 1985, Mike Farley took over and continued building the family business. Fast forward to 2016, Tony and Kerry Cox became the new owners, bringing fresh energy and vision. In 2020, they moved the business to its current, updated location to better serve their customers.
Tony has been in the automotive service industry since graduating college, and owning a shop of his own was always a dream. When the opportunity came to purchase a well-established and respected business, it was an easy decision—and one he’s enjoyed every step of the way.
Since taking over in 2016, Tony and Kerry have worked closely with Boone Bank & Trust Co. From day one, the bank has been a key partner in their journey. “Boone Bank & Trust Co. has helped us with every new project—building our new store, buying the car dealership, stocking inventory,” says Tony. “Having a local bank with a great, business-minded team has not only helped us secure financing, but also given us valuable insight to make smart, timely decisions.”
